Professional Development Committee:
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for offering guidance on campus professional development initiatives, supporting the coordination and implementation of Professional Development Days, and selecting recipients for the National Institute for Staff & Organizational Development (NISOD) Annual Excellence Awards.
Scholar Day Committee:
The Department of Professional and Organizational Development (POD) is proud to host Scholar Day at the conclusion of each long semester (fall and spring). Scholar Day serves as a formal showcase of McLennan Community College students’ academic and creative work. This event is open to students, employees, and members of the public.
The Scholar Day Committee is a volunteer body composed of dedicated faculty and staff who work collaboratively to support the students, programs, and activities associated with Scholar Day. The committee is committed to fostering an environment that highlights student achievement and promotes a culture of learning, engagement, and academic excellence.
