Dennis A. Clark, D.V.M.

Dr. Clark has been practicing veterinary medicine since May of 1997. He graduated with both a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. Dr. Clark has an extensive background in Equine and Mixed animal practice. He completed his internship in Mixed animal practice at Lee Animal Clinic in Kiln, MS. He then moved to Memphis, TN working at the prestigious Akin Equine Veterinary Services. In 2002, Dr. Clark moved to Central Texas and started a mobile Equine practice. He started teaching as an Adjunct Instructor at MCC Vet. Tech in the fall of 2003. Dr. Clark became a full time instructor in January of 2013.

Sue Allen, L.V.T.

Sue has worked as a L.V.T. Veterinary Technician in the veterinary field since 1981. She received her A.A.S. degree from what was then T.S.T.I. (now T.S.T.C.) in Waco. She has extensive background in working with both small and large animals. Sue has worked exclusively in mixed practices during her career. Her main focus was patient care and client education. She is a member of the Veterinary Team Association of Texas, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She became Program Director of McLennan Community College's Veterinary Technology Program in August of 2010.

Laurel Shrawder, L.V.T.

Laurel attended Tarleton State University and obtained her Bachelors of Animal Science with a minor in Biology. She then furthered her education in 2013 at McLennan Community College and received her A. A. S in Veterinary Technology. While attending MCC she lived and worked in Round Rock, commuting to and from Waco every day to class. She has been working in the small animal field since 2013. In 2015, upon graduating McLennan Community College’s Veterinary Technology Program, she became a LVT. She has experience in high volume spay/neuter, emergency medicine and oncology. Laurel became a full time instructor in September 2018.
