McLennan Community College’s admissions and recruitment staff would like to thank you for expressing interest in the educational opportunities available at MCC. We would like to offer our assistance in helping you begin the process of attaining a valued associate’s degree or technical certificate or start the process toward a bachelor’s or professional degree. Our current and former students credit our quality instruction, small classes, committed faculty and caring staff with helping them create a solid foundation for future success.

Mission Statement

The purpose of Admissions and Recruitment is to identify, attract, enroll and retain students who reflect the population of the MCC service area. Students are the most important part of this institution, and the office of admissions and recruitment is committed to providing students, faculty and staff effective service to enhance the educational success of students in a friendly atmosphere.

  • Presentations on: the college application process, importance of college, education and the programs available at MCC
  • Send information regarding programs
  • Provide information tables
  • Process admission applications and incoming transcripts
  • Process admission applications for international students
  • Evaluate incoming transcripts for transfer credit
  • Provide information about registration

Student Recruiting Practices

McLennan Community College does not participate or condone in high-pressure recruiting tactics such as making multiple unsolicited contacts, including contacts by phone, email, or in-person and engaging in same-day recruitment and registration for the purpose of securing enrollments. In addition, the College does not, and will not provide commission, bonus, or other incentive payment based directly or indirectly on securing enrollments of any type. If students or community members request information, an MCC representative will correspond via email, text or by phone according to the request. Users may unsubscribe from emails or opt-out of text messages at any time.
