The Adult Education program is here to help you reach your academic and career goals.
Get Started
Step 1: Complete Enrollment Paperwork
Go to Connectable to fill out your enrollment paperwork online.
Step 2: Attend Registration
Registration sessions are available throughout the month.
Step 3: Attend Orientation
Orientation sessions are held once a month.
Step 4: Start Classes
New classes begin every five weeks.
Youth Enrollment Requirements
Students who are 16 years old must provide all of the following:
- An official court order or letter from a probation officer (required by Texas Law)
- Official withdrawal from the last school attended
- A parent's signature on the student enrollment form (available at the AEL office)
Students who are 17 or 18 years old must provide all of the following:
- Official withdrawal from the last school attended
- If home-schooled, a letter from a parent stating that the student attended homeschool
- A parent's signature on the student enrollment form (available at the AEL office)
- If the student does not live with their parent or guardian, they must provide one of the following:
- Proof they live on their own (examples: utility bill in their name, marriage license, or rental agreement)
- Proof of homelessness (example: enrollment or admittance form from homeless shelter)
Important: All enrollment forms for all students 18 and younger must be signed and dated by a parent or guardian in ink. Students who do not bring the correct completed paperwork will not be allowed to join the AEL program.
