MCC Cyber Geocache Challenge

Start at the Help Desk in the Learning Technology Center (LTC 210) to collect the letters for the final cybersecurity word in the correct order. 

Game begins Wednesday morning, October 29 and ends Thursday evening, October 30, 2025

How to Play

1. Scan the first QR code to start your journey.
2. Follow the clues to find the next QR tag hidden around campus.
3. At each stop, learn a quick cybersecurity tip and collect one letter.
4. Scan each QR code to enter your letter.
5. Keep track of all 7 letters. They will form the final cybersecurity word.
6. At the last stop, scan the final QR code and submit your word to claim a prize.
7. Tip: You must scan every QR code, and enter each answer correctly to be eligible for a prize.

Rules

• Work solo.
• Be respectful: Don’t move or damage any QR tags.
• Stay within public areas and follow normal campus guidelines.
• Use your phone’s camera or QR app to scan each code.
• No need for speed; focus on solving each clue.

Hints

• Each clue will guide you to another part of campus.
• Some will rhyme, some will reference campus landmarks.
• If you’re stuck, reread the clue carefully; each one contains a location hint.
• Every cache teaches a cybersecurity concept to help you stay safe online.
