Remote Proctoring Information
All STAMP 4S exams are remotely proctored using AvantProctor. An AvantProctor testing session lasts up to 3 hours (180 minutes). Test takers may use all or a portion of this time. Test takers are responsible for managing their time within each section of the exam.
Examinees are required to review and follow all remote testing rules before testing. A detailed overview of the remote proctoring process, system requirements, and testing rules is available in the AvantProctor Test Taker Guide and the Technology Guide. Please review the technology guide to ensure you have the appropriate equipment, including:
- A computer with an internet connection and a supported browser
- One monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Web camera
- Headset with a microphone
Failure to follow remote testing rules may result in exam termination and forfeiture of exam fees.
What to Expect on Test Day
Testing will take place remotely using your own computer and a webcam. You must test in a quiet, private location that meets Avant’s remote testing requirements.
A valid, unexpired photo ID is required for identity verification during the remote check-in process.
Resources Allowed on Exam
All permitted resources and testing rules are determined by Avant Assessment. No unauthorized materials, notes, devices, or assistance are allowed during testing. No dictionaries, textbooks, cell phones, paper, pens, or other support materials (e.g., Siri, Alexa, smartwatches) are allowed in the testing area during the test.
Scores
Score reports are issued by Avant Assessment. To request that your Stamp 4S scores be entered into your McLennan Community College student record, email testingservices@mclennan.edu with this request. Be sure to include your McLennan Community College student ID number.

Testing Accommodations
Students requesting testing-related accommodations should contact Testing Services before purchasing their exam from Avant.
Testing Services works closely with Accommodations (Disability Services) to provide services for students with ADA accommodations. Testing candidates requiring testing accommodations must register first with Accommodations. The registration process with Accommodations should be done promptly to allow enough reasonable time for the Testing Services staff to prepare all testing accommodations.
Once testing accommodations have been approved, the student must inform Testing Services of his or her approved testing accommodations, so their RegisterBlast account can be appropriately set up before registering for an exam. Students who do not follow these steps run the risk of not having their testing accommodations for that exam.
See the Requesting Accommodations webpage for process information.
