McLennan Community College, in partnership with Advanced Truck Driving School (ATDS), offers a comprehensive four-week Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program designed to prepare you for a successful career in the trucking industry. With a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experience, our program equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as a professional truck driver.Dreambound

Program Highlights

  • Duration: 4 weeks (210 hours)
  • Training: 140 hours of behind-the-wheel experience and 70 hours of classroom instruction
  • Equipment: Train on modern equipment, including both manual and automatic transmission trucks
  • Certification: Preparation for Class A CDL
  • Job Placement: Lifetime job placement assistance with a high placement rate

Admission Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old (21 for interstate driving)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED
  • Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements
