Class Admission Statistics
"While it is our desire to admit each person who applies to our MCC nursing programs, we realize that this is not possible, given limitations of space, faculty and clinical sites. Likewise, and more importantly, your success is paramount to us; therefore, we want to offer some information about the competition of applicants you face as well as suggestions to improve your chances of being successful with your chosen career."
FALL 2024 Associate Degree Nursing Admission - There were 64 applicants who were eligible for admission. The Admission Committee accepted 40 students for admissions with points ranging from 41 to 51. Those admitted to the ADN nursing program possessed a GPA of 3.30 to 4.00 in all pre-requisite courses. Please review the Admission Criteria page for the latest information and point system explanation.
Many applicants are interested in avenues to success and therefore,
- Re-take some RN or VN pre-requisite courses and strive for an "A" — 4.0 in those courses to increase your points for admission. (Please note that if you receive college financial assistance, some scholarships or grants do not pay for course repeats).
- Explore other Allied Health Occupations that may be of an equal interest to you.
Again, please know that your goals are our goals and let us know how we can assist you with your success.
Sincerely,
MCC Nursing Administration Faculty and Staff
